Cape Kri in the Dampier Strait holds the world record for fish species counted on a single dive — 374. Blue Magic and Manta Sandy deliver reliable oceanic and reef manta encounters, Sardine Reef produces dense fish schools, while Magic Mountain, Boo Windows and Fiabacet in Misool add seamounts, arches and soft-coral walls. Most 2027 itineraries combine north and south.

October to April brings calmer seas, less rain and peak manta activity at Blue Magic, Manta Sandy and Magic Mountain, with visibility of 15–30 metres.
